It was expected that Google will do around 8.6B in Q2. And it is a great surprise for the new CEO Larry Page.

The AdWords made 18 % growth which is lower than the comp any growth. US revenue is 46% and the rest of the world revenue is 54%. This is the lowest US quarterly revenue percentage in the last three years. Their UK revenue is flat.

Google increased their headcount this year by 2,450, this is the biggest increase in Google history. Larry Page said, 2011 is going to be the year of maximum recruitment.
